Du Research Group

Professor Du received his B.S. degree from Yunnan University, China, in 1986 and his M.S. degree from The Chinese Academy of Science in 1989. He was a visiting scholar in the Frederick Miescher Institute, Basel, Switzerland, in 1993 and received his Ph.D. from The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1997. From 1997-2001, he was a postdoctoral associate at the University of California at Davis. Since 2001, Dr. Du has been a faculty member in Department of Chemistry, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He started as an Assistant Professor in 2001, was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2007 and to Full Professor in 2013.
