Matthew Jamison

I am a Nebraska native originally from Kearney, Nebraska and received a BS in Chemistry from Doane University in 2021 where I performed research on the use of plasmonic nanoparticles as sensors and substrates for water remediation. After graduation I worked in industry for a year at a green technology start up focused on the study of carbon nanoparticles and their use as filler in polymer materials. Always planning to pursue a PhD, I left industry to join the Morin group in 2022 planning to pursue a PhD studying related subjects. My current research is focused on polymer chemistry, specifically focusing on silicone curing chemistry and the use of fillers as probes and chemical activation sites for advanced materials.
