I am Abhiteja Konda from Hyderabad, a metropolitan city in Southern India. I have attended the University of Bergen, Norway and the University of Barcelona, Spain for a Joint European Masters in Quality in Analytical Laboratories focusing mainly in Analytical Methods, Data Analysis and Quality Management; graduated in Mar 2012. I have completed my undergraduate degree in Pharmacy (Bachelor of Pharmacy) from the Vinayaka Missions University, India with a Gold Medal in Aug 2010.
My current research focuses on the use of micro/mill-fluidic soft reactors: (i) to study the effect of fluid flow parameters (e.g., flow velocity, direction) on crystal morphology, and in the synthesis of hierarchical nanoparticles, and (ii) to deposit functional inorganic coatings on substrates of arbitrary chemical composition. The synthesized/deposited inorganic materials will be characterized by optical, scanning electron, transmission electron and scanning probe microscopies, and X-ray diffraction. This work could lead to new knowledge/methods in the synthesis of useful inorganic hybrid materials.
